Sono stati annunciati i nominati ai The Comedy Awards 2012, i premi dedicato alle serie tv di genere, che si terranno il 28 aprile e che verranno trasmessi in America il 6 maggio da Comedy Central. A guidare la lista delle candidature sono i “soliti” Modern Family e 30 Rock, entrambi con cinque nomination, seguiti da Curb Your Enthusiasm, quattro, e Parks and recreation e Happy Endings, tre. Snobbate le nuove serie e i loro protagonisti ad eccezione di Zoey Deschanel in lizza per il premio come Miglior Attrice grazie alla sua interpretazione di Jess in New Girl.
