Il Directors Guild of America (GDA) giunto quest’anno alla sua sessantaduesima edizione ha annunciato le candidature per la regia televisiva. Le nomination si suddivideranno come di consueto in otto categorie, film per la tv e miniserie, spot pubblicitari, serial drama, serial comedy, reality show, show musicali, e serial in daytime.
Naturalmente ogni regista verrà candidato per uno specifico episodio e quest’anno tra le nomination spiccano nella categoria comedy Glee con due nomination, tra le quali Paris Barclay per l’episodio Wheels, e l’esordiente Modern Family con Jason Winer regista del pilot, mentre per i serial drammatici Jack Bender è in lizza per il doppio episodio di Lost The Incident, e ben tre candidature per altrettanti registi per l’onnipresente Mad Men.
